From sitting in our vehicles to eating at restaurants, we spend a lot of time in a seated position. Now ask yourself this question, if I had to use my red dot pistol from this seated position could I conduct that task. This should be a skill that every Law Enforcement officer possesses and should be incorporated in their law enforcement firearms training programs.
This pistol shooting drill is very simple to set up and requires you to have a seat at the range. I personally use a folding chair just to save space.
The video will explain and show the technique and you can see a practical demonstration of this red dot pistol shooting drill. The key is to put the dry fire time in this technique so during the process of drawing your pistol from the holster you are not violating any of the 4 rules of firearms safety.
